Research Activity of the Department of Management
Research Activity of the Department of Management Teachers and students of the Department carry out active research activities, the results of which are reflected in the teaching process, the preparation of scientific publications and in the periodicals of both the PMR and foreign ones. Scientific research of the Department is carried out according to the declared theme “Problems of social and economic development of the republic under conditions of uncertainty”. The scientific researches of the Department address a range of problems related to the socio-economic trends in the development of the PMR, and to the challenges and problems of building the professional competence of graduates by harmonizing the interaction of the State, Business community and higher professional education. The Department teaching staff shall carry out the following tasks in the course of organizing and conducting research activities: the further development of scientific and educational ties and the active participation of the department members in the scientific researches of the branch, the university and other higher educational establishments, as well as organizations and institutions of the republic; active cooperation with businesspeople of the city and the republic when studying problems and formulating recommendations to solve them; ensuring the further development of the level of research activities of the department teaching staff; enhancing the research capacity of student research groups; full cooperation and assistance when training young teachers at the postgraduate level, involving them in scientific research; holding scientific researches by the teaching staff and students of the department to address the region’s economic needs. As a result of the scientific research of the professors and lecturers of the Department there has been issued three monographs containing theoretical material and practical recommendations to help managers of various levels to solve current and strategic problems of business: Organizational Behaviour (2009), Manager’s Reference Manual (2010), Manager’s Reference Manual. 2nd ed. Revised and expanded (2012), Trach D.M. Monograph “Scientific Foundations of Management” (2019).
At the Department there is a student scientific club “Regional Management (the Rybnitsa and Kamenka regions)” (the scientific supervisor is Senior Lecturer Kravchenko P.A.). The result of participation in the club work is the preparation of reports for student scientific and practical conferences and publications in student scientific collections and other editions in the relevant field of preparation. The group meetings are held according to the approved curriculum. The students of the city schools are invited to participate in the scientific club for the purpose of vocational guidance. Research work is one of the main areas of students’ activity in the master’s degree program. In the course of implementing the approved master’s degree plans, the master’s degree programs are aimed at carrying out research work of an applied nature, taking into account the specifics of the regional economy, preparing scientific publications and reports, enlarging the context of the declared theme in a qualitative way. There is cooperation with employers in the field of practical training of students and the implementation of research projects. The topic of graduation thesis for students has been made more sensitive to the real needs of the economy and the service sector and to the problems of the development of enterprises, organizations and institutions. Research-oriented measures are carried out with the participation of representatives of the State bodies, business environment and education system. The needs of the regional labour market in terms of management personnel are being studied, and the practice is being pursued of concluding contracts with involved organizations and enterprises to conduct basic practices of future managers. At present the department actively cooperates with a number of enterprises, on the basis of which students undergo all kinds of internship. The contract on opening of the department’s branch at JSC “Rybnitsa bakery factory” was concluded (for 5 years). Contracts are concluded for the period of internship with enterprises: JSC “MSW”, ISUE Rybnitsa branch “Tirasteploenergo”, TWCW “KVINT”, CJSC “Agroprombank”, JSC “Tiraspol Dairy Plant”, LLC “Rist”, JSC “Eximbank”, JSC “Rybnitsa AK-2831”, SUE SPDN, LLC “MegatransAvto”, LLC “Slavgrad”, SUE “Pridnestrovie – Les”, CJSC “RCP”, LLC “Talis”, Station Rybnitsa, SUE PRWS, SUE “Water Supply and Disposal”, LLC “Plemzhiv agroelit|, LLC “"Stroyenergomontazh”, RF LLC “Softshoes”, LLC “Amalfeya”, LLC “Avto-Red”, etc. One of the main tasks of the Department is to increase the qualitative growth of teachers through postgraduate studies, qualification: 1. Trach D.M. is a doctoral student at the State Agrarian University of the Republic of Moldova. 2. Kozma E.S. completed her postgraduate studies at the Voronezh State University and was awarded a research teacher’s qualification. In 2017, P.A. Kravchenko completed her postgraduate studies at the Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko, 08.00.05 “Economics and management of the national economy”. Every year, according to the approved plan, the Department holds conferences, seminars and round tables with the participation of employees in the sphere of education, culture and social structures.  Work is under way on active vocational guidance for school leavers and students of technical colleges of the PMR, which enables the Department, in the difficult demographic situation of the region, to ensure that academic groups are filled. Cooperation agreements have been signed with secondary school No. 6 and secondary school No. 8. On the basis of secondary school No. 6, there is a research platform “"Introduction of a meta-subject approach in the implementation of the State Educational Standard of the Primary General Education”, in which teachers of the department take part. Career guidance meetings are held with students of the final grades of the city schools. |
