DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES AND PRODUCTIONS

The Department of Automation of Technological Processes and Production was established in 2015. Since 01.09.2015 it provides bachelor’s degree training in the training program 2.15.03.04 “Automation of technological processes and production” both in an internal study mode and in an external study mode. The educational and material base of the department allows to train specialists at a high level. Graduates of the department successfully work at enterprises and factories of the city and the republic.

The teaching staff of the department is constantly improving their qualifications: they study at graduate schools, take advanced training courses in the republic and abroad.

Highly qualified specialists, including associate professors, graduate students, leading specialists of enterprises and institutions of the city are employed at the department.

The teaching staff, together with students, actively carries out research work, takes part in scientific and practical conferences, round tables. One student scientific circle is successfully working at the department: “Applied Urbanism in the urban development and landscaping”.

A Bachelor in the training program 2.15.03.04 “Automation of technological processes and production” is preparing for the following types of professional activity:
-design and engineering;
-production and technological;
-scientific research;

The field of professional activity of bachelors includes:
- a set of means, methods and techniques of activity aimed at automating existing automated technologies and productions and creating new ones that ensure the production of competitive products;
- development of automation and control tools and systems for various purposes, including the product life cycle and its quality;
- design and improvement of structures and processes of industrial enterprises within the single information space;
- creation and application of hardware and software of automation systems;
- ensuring the highly efficient functioning of automation, control, monitoring and testing facilities and systems according to the specified requirements while observing the rules of operation and safety.
