Junior Academy of gymnasium pupils
Junior Academy of gymnasium pupils September 22, 2017 the Junior Academy of gymnasium pupils for pupils of 8-11 grades was opened for the first time in Pridnestrovie on the basis of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko.  The project was developed and implemented in cooperation with the the top staff of Russian Gymnasium №1 and the Rybnitsa branch. The main objective of the Junior Academy of gymnasium pupils is to give pupils the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge in those subjects that interest them as well as assistance in choosing a profession and preparation for entering a higher educational institution. Experienced teachers of the Rybnitsa branch departments who are interested in the quality of knowledge of schoolchildren and are responsible for the results of their work, are engaged to work in the Academy. Educational and methodological contacts have been established between the teachers of the University and school teachers, the forms and technologies of teaching have been improved, seminars have been holding to exchange experience. The joint work of the school and the university solves the problems of psychological adaptation to new conditions and peculiarities of teaching, to unusual teaching methods. The changes taking place in the school system, its increasing differentiation, as well as the transition to a multi-level structure of higher education open up new opportunities for interaction between secondary and higher educational institutions, contribute to the improvement and development of continuing education. The work of the academy is structured in such a way that pupils can express themselves, get in-depth knowledge in sciences, moreover, they can make their own choice of subjects. The Academy has the opportunity to teach not only the usual set of subjects, such as mathematics, Russian, physics and chemistry, but also modern and popular fields of study such as design, computer modeling, programming. |
