On January 21, 2014 the scientific and practical conference of the teachers of the Foreign Languages Chair was held.
In the course of the conference the following reports devoted to problems of modern linguistics and methodology of teaching foreign languages were heard: Korchevskaya O., Zadobrivskaya O. “Developing Writing Skills”; Volkova Y. “Using songs at English lessons as a means of the communicative competence formation”; Egorova V. “Formation of semantics of complex language signs by means of secondary conceptualization”; Russu A. “Accent variations in German”; Pavlinova I. “Using interactive teaching methods in the implementation of the competence-based approach”; Basiuk I. “Applying computer presentations in the educational process in senior classes of secondary schools and at the higher school”.
All the reports had informative and applied character, in particular, Senior Lecturer Volkova Y. presented methodical development under studying of one of subjects in Introductory Corrective Grammatical Course.
