On January 15, 2021 the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods held the Academic Staff conference based on the results of the scientific 2020 researches.
Viktoria G. Egorova, an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods, welcomed the participants with the opening speech.
In the course of the conference, contributions raising modern problems of foreign language teaching techniques, as well as of the peculiarities of lexis and phraseology functioning in English and German were presented. The section work was accompanied by a lively and constructive discussion. The reports were presented at a high theoretical and methodological level with the use of multimedia technologies. The section participants expressed great interest in the discussed topics and emphasized the relevance of studying the mentioned linguistic and methodology problems.
