On January 20, the Department of General Scientific Disciplines held the final scientific and practical conference of the Department of General Scientific Disciplines for 2020.
During the section work “Humanization Processes in the Spheres of Social Communication” 7 reports were heard. The teachers presented their messages in two scientific areas: “Humanization Processes in the Spheres of Social Communication” and “Sports Development in the Region”.
The conference considered problems related to social communication in the modern world, the preservation and development of cultural differences and the need to study the identity transformation features, a healthy lifestyle and health of the nation.
The greatest interest and heated discussion was aroused by the report of PhD, Associate Professor Savvina L.I. on the subject “Problems of Cultural Policy: National Identity and Archetypes”, which revealed the scientific aspects of national identity in the modern world.
The question of multiculturalism turned out to be no less interesting. Senior Lecturer Nikitina T.I. noted that multiculturalism in the context of our time requires the transformation of cultural policy and the task of establishing mutual understanding between representatives of different cultures and societies, that is, the task of successful social and cultural communication, is becoming increasingly urgent.
Relevant and timely are the research results by Lecturers Shumilova I.F., Borisyuk V.N., Mosezhny V.I., who determined the importance of physical culture and sports during the quarantine period under distance learning conditions.
The Head of the Department, Associate Professor Lozan T.A., summing up the conference results, noted that 2020 was the final year for these topics of scientific directions and the results of five-year research work will be reflected in the joint department monograph.
