SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROBLEMS OF MODERN SOCIETY AND WAYS TO SOLVE THEM
On January 15, 2021, the Department of Management held the final scientific and practical conference of the teaching staff of the Department of Management powered by the Zoom platform. The section topic is “Social and Economic Problems of Modern Society and Ways to Solve Them”.
The teachers summed up the results of scientific 2020 work. Their research results are reflected in publications. Scientific publications on the research topic are presented in scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission, RSCI, International scientific and practical conferences and regional publications. The materials were used in the educational process, in the process of supervising the preparation for FQP at the bachelor's and master's degrees, in the process of scientific postgraduate student supervision.
The conference participants highlight that in the situation of volatility, the state should strengthen its control over resources. In a critical financial situation, the government bodies must form tax policy, economic policy in accordance with the situation. The publications of the department teaching staff contain the necessary results of the economic situation analysis; they should be used in the regulation and operational management of the region economic development. The analysis shows that more than half of the lands in the Rybnitsa region is in the hands of small entrepreneurs. The state needs to direct the country’s economy to the area of specialization in the agro-industrial complex. It is also necessary to conduct an operational analysis, express analysis of the financial condition of organizations and take timely measures to prevent its deterioration.
As for the contemporary social and economic problems, the conference participants highlight that the difficulties of the modern period of the domestic economy development, the challenges facing the country, changes in the qualitative structure of human capital require new, in-depth assessments of risks and challenges in the economy and the PMR society development. It is necessary to form more advanced, multifactorial approaches in the strategy development for the economic and social country security.
On the basis of the work results the conference participants identify the following conceptual provisions:
1. Agrarian transformations are a necessary factor in the social and economic development of the PMR rural areas.
2. Modern realities of management in the education system require extraordinary management decisions in the field of education management.
3. The labor potential of the Northern PMR region is in a critical situation and requires thoughtful measures in the field of preserving and increasing the labor region resources as well as their qualitative transformation.
4. Public and private partnership in the agro-industrial complex is a demanded and necessary tool for the development of agriculture in the PMR.
5. Demographic transformations in the PMR show extremely negative tendencies and require thoughtful decisions of the state administration in the sphere of demographic policy.
