SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE
On November 10, 2023, the faculty (branch) scientific and practical conference “A modern lesson in a foreign language in the context of the formation of universal educational actions” was held at the Department of the Germanic Languages and Methods of Their Teaching.
The conference was attended by the department teachers and students of the Ist and IInd courses of the training program “Teacher Education”, specialization “Linguistic Education” (master’ degree level). The following reports were presented to the conference participants:
1. Reflection and reflexive skills as a mandatory aspect of school education (Bargan E.A.)
2. Features of the use of a cognitive approach in teaching a foreign language (Vasilyeva N.A.).
3. The use of Internet resources in teaching grammar of the German language at the secondary level of study at school (Korchinskaya Yu.Yu.).
4. Formation of the competence of self-education among students under the bachelor’s degree program (Kucherenko V.Yu.).
5. Institutions of additional education: tasks, goals and functions in the context of teaching a foreign language (Kushch O.S.).
6. The main approaches to the development of students’ vocabulary (Mamontova O.N.).
7. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of students’ flexible skills in the process of learning a foreign language (Oley I.I.).
8. Teaching the German language within the association “Chess in German” at the junior level of studying (Sasina L.V.).
The work at the conference was accompanied by a lively and constructive discussion. The reports were presented at a high theoretical and methodological level using multimedia technologies. The participants showed great interest in the topics discussed and noted the relevance of studying the issues touched.
