TOWN’S DAY
On the 21st of November the town Rybnitsa celebrated the 384th anniversary from the date of foundation. According to the decision of the administration of our institute of higher education this day was declared as a working day but not a study one and the staff of our branch could take an active part in the celebration.
In the morning the representatives of administration of the branch, lecturers and students by tradition laid flowers on the memorable symbol in the honour of major-general Konstantin Tsvetkov, to eternal flame on the Memorial of Glory and to Memorable Symbol in the honour of dead defenders of Transdniestria. The exhibition of theses fulfilled by graduating students of the department of applied arts was offered to townspeople and guests of our town in our Palace of culture.
On the Victory square actors of folk theater ‘’Rampa’’, students and graduating students of our branch constituted the majority of the performers, in the costumes of skomorokhs infected with festive mood everyone who had a rest at musical-fair inns. They set riddles and questions about our town and rewarded with bagels and buns for right answers and also sang and danced in a ring.
The students’ youth took part in flashmob «Rybnitsa – the best town on the Earth! ». The holiday ended with colourful fireworks.
