THE CONFERENCE OF THE CHAIR OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISCIPLINES

On April 11-12, 2013 the chair of social and economic disciplines held the student's research practice conference. 
  


The head of the chair Ph.D. in Economics, Professor M. Trach opened the conference. He said that research scientific work of students is an obligatory and extremely important link of preparation of future specialists-managers. The number of speakers increases every year that shows the considerable interest of students in scientific researches, and respectively in search of improvement directions of social and economic development of PMR. The range of scientific research themes which were submitted for discussion testifies about it.

The up-to-dateness and importance of questions, which are annually raised during the conference, attract either students or pupils of schools of our city. There were 35 students and 12 teachers at the conference. During the conference the students of the I-V courses of different faculties performed 15 reports and also 3 pupils from Rybnitsa schools presented their research works this year.

Issues of demography, unemployment, questions of human resources management as a factor of improvement of social and economic state development were touched upon in many reports. The students’ non-standard approach to carrying out research and the ability of presenting their material in an interesting way should be noted.

The great interest in audience was caused by issues of happiness sensation in connection with welfare, touched by III course student Marina Plugar who took the 3rd place with the report “Economic theory of happiness”, the academic advisor is Senior Lecturer E. Kozma.

The presentation of III course student Elena Shayevskaya who took the 2nd place with the report “Features of Advertising Development in PMR”, the academic advisor is Ph. D. in Sociology, Associate Professor L. Melnichuk, was discussed in an energetic way. The novelty of work is studying features of effective work of the advertizing agency “Exclusive” in Rybnitsa.

The first place was taken by IV course student Karina Sharban who presented “Population Ageing as a Social and Economic Problem of Modern Society”, the academic advisor is Senior Lecturer E. Kozma. This work is recognized as the most interesting and almost significant one as it contains the in-depth study of economical and demographic problems of PMR at the present stage and measures for their solution.

All participants of the conference expressed satisfaction with results of the conference and hope of such fruitful work in the future.
