STUDENT’S SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF DAA CHAIR
On April 17, 2013 Decorative and Applied Arts Chair held the student's scientific and practical conference at year-end 2012. Teachers and students of the branch, and also teachers of MEI “Rybnitsa Upper Secondary School № 1” took part in work of the conference.
The head of DAA Chair, Associate Professor I. Mosiychuk addressed an opening speech. As Igor Petrovitch noted, student’s research work is an integral part of specialist training and it makes students creative personalities.
The students of the 1st-4th courses of the specialty “Design” gave reports at the conference. The 1st place was taken by I. Bashkirova, the student of Course I, specialization “Design”, who presented the report on the subject “Carpetmaking Features of Kamenka Region”, the academic advisor is Senior Lecturer L. Pokusinskaya. The report was accompanied with an informative and comprehensible presentation. Irina’s work is acknowledged as the most interesting one. Carpetmaking features of Kamenka Region were studied and revealed, and also the influence of neighboring people on artistic heritage of the region is looked over.
The 2nd place was shared by Karina Samsonov, the student of Course III, and Julia Saynchina, the student of Course IV.
Karina’s report on the subject “Creative Approach in Teaching Activities” caught the great interest of listeners as the speaker proved the importance of teacher personality role in the achievement of an artist-teacher of fine and applied arts.
Julia Saynchina made an informative report on the subject “Artistic Heritage and Continuance in Art”. Julia noted that a personal example of the master greatly influenced art taste formation and techniques. The confirmation of it is the fact of continuance of O. Boltnev’s skill at his advisor I. Mosiychuk.
The presented reports didn’t leave anybody indifferent and invited a productive discussion.
