The University is 83 years old
The festive events dated for “The Day of the Foundation of the University” were held in the Pridnestrovian State University named T. Shevchenko in Rybnitsa, the higher education institution was 83 years old. The holiday began with a video conference, which was carried out from 12 halls: the conference room of the PSU and 11 new technically equipped resource centers of institutes, faculties and university branches.
The rector, Beril S., uttered congratulatory words underlining the importance of a role of the higher education institution in the history of the state. Directors and deans told about the future plans and tasks of substructures, and also thanked the rector and SPA (Scientific and production association) “Eurasian integration” for the new resource centers. Festive events proceeded with a solemn meeting of TS, employees and students of the branch, whose lives and destinies are united with the university. The concert prepared by students and graduates of the branch became a gift for participants. During the events a charitable fair sale of baking “Heat of our hands” within the all-university programme “Create Good Things”, which was prepared by student's trade committee, took place. During the event more than 2 thousand rubles were collected, which would be spent with charitable purposes. The quiz "According to pages of the university history" threw light upon the main stages of the PSU formation. Students expressed respect and presented heat of hearts to their university with the help of paper lanterns.
