Student’s Self-Government, the Leader of the XXI Century
On November 19 an annual round table conference “Student’s Self-Government, the Leader of the XXI Century” on the topic: “Actual Youth Problems and the Ways of Their Solutions in the Town Community” took place being a part of the Youth and Students Decade of PMR in the PSU, the branch in Rybnitsa.
The core student group of the PSU, the branch in Rybnitsa, Polytechnic College in Rybnitsa, representatives of the town territorial representative bodies, invited guests: the State Administration Head Social Affairs Assistant of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district Bulat I., the Career Guidance Department Head of “The Center of Social Security and Social Protection” in Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district Morozyuk R., Father Sergii, a clergy representative of St. Michael Cathedral in Rybnitsa, took part in the activity of the round table conference.
The director of the PSU, the branch in Rybnitsa, the assistant professor, Pavlinov I. noted the importance of this topic and wished the constructive work to the participants in his welcoming speech. The State Administration Head Assistant Bulat Inna noted the necessity of enhancing the town youth activity and the administration readiness of accepting reasonable offers. The Career Guidance Department Head Morozyuk Rodica gave some pieces of practical advice in correct positioning themselves to employers; she presented statistical data on youth employment in our town. Father Sergii raised a very important topic of ecological problems in our town and attracted the audience’s attention to it.
The round table conference work proceeded watching the video survey of young people in our town about basic problems which excite the modern youth.
After discussing such an important issue which appeared in the youth environment of our town, it was noted that similar youth meetings of representatives of various youth formations can contribute to the better mutual understanding and development of the general strategy in the youth policy.
The concrete proposals of the youth interaction were developed during the “round table conference”.
On the basis of the given reports and discussions the participants of the round table conference decided that the following points are necessary for the activity coordination of youth public organizations and associations, solving common problems and joint achievement of the purposes:
1. To develop cooperation of self-government department of educational town institutions by means of participation in the development and implementation of socially significant youth projects, actions and activities of different orientations, to develop the interaction and exchange experience mechanism of the youth organizations and associations.
2. To promote the development of financial, material-resource base, the implementation of youth policy in the town and district, to provide increasing the financing of target programs to ensure the efficiency of solving the most acute youth problems.
3. To pay special attention to the ecological youth education and healthy lifestyle promotion under realization of the basic youth policy directions.
4. To expand public awareness about youth activities and opportunities for its self-realization through mass-media.
