70 YEARS UNDER PEACEFUL HEAVEN
On March 30 at the Fame Memorial in Rybnitsa the ceremonial rally devoted to the 70th anniversary of the city and district emancipation from the German-Romanian occupation was held.
The event was attended by the President of Pridnestrovie Evgeny Shevchuk, the Government Chairman of Pridnestrovie Tatiana Turanskaya, the State Administration Head Alla Demyanova, the Chairman of People’s Deputies Council Lozovsky Vadim, a member of the Supreme Council Claudia Tresckova, heads of enterprises, institutions, schoolchildren and students. The students’ activists of the branch in Rybnitsa came to the rally to commemorate all those who died in this terrible war and wish health and long life to the veterans who defended our land and provided us with the peaceful future. The least that youth can make nowadays is to remember the lessons of the war, to keep the memory and respect the feat of arms which our grandfathers and fathers made in the remote forties. The nation who outlived the war, would like nothing better than peace.
