NO AIDS WORLD DAY
On December 1 the world celebrates No Aids World Day, which was proclaimed by the World Health Organization in 1988 for increasing population’s awareness of this disease.
Students of the branch in Rybnitsa timed to this date a traditional preventive event “A Red Ribbon”. In the branch and in central city streets students-volunteers distributed flyers, booklets and red ribbons which are a symbol of memory of the dead from this dreadful disease. Activists urged youth not to make rash acts, to take care of themselves and their relatives, and also to treat HIV-positive people tolerantly.
