INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY
On April 9 the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering within the framework of the sub-section “Modern Programming Technologies”, the section “Information technologies in the Digital Society” held an interactive online conference on the results of the scientific work done by students and pupils in 2020, where they could present the results of their scientific researches in Zoom.
In their projects the speakers studied both theoretical and practical aspects of the modern programming technologies use: when forming an educational site database, counting means of transport automatically, developing different applications and information system of the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering.
According to the sub-section work results, the awards were given in the following order:
The 1st place was taken by Andronov Artur, Romanyuk Andrey and Kuznetsov Ivan (the 3rd year students of the Bachelor’s program, specializing in “Software and Information System Development”) with the report on the Development of the Information System for the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering (their scientific supervisors were Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering Tyagulskaya Lyudmila A. and Senior Lecturer of the department Glazov Anatoliy B.)
The 2nd place was taken by Glinka Ilya and Stefantsov Dmitriy (the 1st year students of the Bachelor’s program, specializing in “Software and Information System Development”) the subject of their report being “The Program of Graphic Image Processing with artificial intelligence use” (their scientific supervisors were Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering Kozak Lyudmila Y. and Senior Lecturer of the department Glazov Anatoliy B.)
The 3rd place was taken by Shvets Alexey (the 1st year student of the Bachelor’s program, specializing in “Software and Information System Development”) the subject of his report being “Creating a Bot in Discord for operating user’s commands” (the scientific supervisor was Senior Lecturer of the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering Garbuznyak Elena S.)
