SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL WORKSHOP
On April 23, 2021 the Department of General Science Disciplines held the faculty scientific and practical workshop on “Social and cultural processes in the modern world. Their challenges and prospects”.
In the workshop participated the workers of the municipal institution “Rybnitsa Department of Culture”, the representatives of general education schools’ offices, the teaching staff of the Department of General Science Disciplines, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of the training program in “Social and cultural Activity”.
During the workshop the relevant problems of social and cultural processes in the modern world were discussed. The scientific areas in focus were:
- Techniques of culture fostering and transmission.
- Problems of historical and cultural heritage preservation in modern culture.
- Social and cultural development of the region under modern conditions.
- Sports development and health promotion in the region.
8 reports were presented during the workshop. The participants mentioned the relevance of all the questions connected with social and cultural processes in the world and in our region.
The following reports aroused the greatest interest and became the topic of a lively discussion: “Healthcare in the current context of the social and cultural development of the region” (Bulaeva G.P., Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Science Disciplines); “School as a social and cultural educational complex of a neighbourhood union, and a model of general education and extracurricular activities integration in the context of the State Educational Standards of general education implementation” (headmaster Kotlyar E.V., deputy director for education of the MEI “Rybnitsa Russian Secondary Education School No.8”)
After listening and discussing the reports, the participants of the workshop adopted the following recommendations:
- to facilitate the development of the city innovational infrastructure by means of cultural and educational institutions creating collaborative projects;
- for all the interested parties to implement various technologies, methods, forms and means of social and cultural activities in order to develop the social city infrastructure.
