GRADUATE QUALIFICATION PAPER DEFENSE
On July 2 the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering held the graduate qualification paper defense for the 4th year students, the training program in “Software Engineering” (09.03.04), specializing in “Software and Information Systems Development”.
The subject matter of the qualification papers was connected with the distant control of the laboratory electronic facilities, the development of the application for DBSN based crypto currency course monitoring, the site for the Municipal Institution for Supplementary Education “Sports martial arts club” and logical frameworks simulator to be used at the classes of Information Science and Information and Communication Technologies.
Three graduate qualification papers were assessed as excellent and one as good.
The State Examination Board chairman, head of the Information Technology Governance at the “Rybnitsa Cement Plant”, Novitsky Stanislav A. and the examination board members singled out the paper completed by Bezrukov M.B. “Distant control of the laboratory electronic facilities” (scientific supervisor was Senior Lecturer Glazov A.B.), which was considered especially interesting.
Regarding the results of the State Examination Board work, the following conclusions were drawn:
1. The qualification paper defense for the claimed training program students was held in the way corresponding to the conferred Bachelor’s degree.
2. All the qualification papers were of high practical relevance. They are recommended to be used in organizations and institutions of the city and district.
3. All the students are recommended to apply for the Master’s Degree program.
