KICKOFF PRACTICAL TEACHING TRAINING CONFERENCE
September 1 is the start for all educational institutions. There is a tradition at our branch: this day teaching staff get acquainted with freshmen, academic advisers clue them in on the affairs and give “tours” around the branch.
At the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods there is one more tradition timed to this day. It is the tradition to tell the 5th year students words of guidance before they start their practical (teaching) training. On September 1 the supervising advisors held a kickoff conference, where they addressed all technical and organizational aspects, namely the specific characteristics of the practical teaching training done by the students in the training program 44.03.05 at the educational institutions (the instruction session for the students on the teaching training objectives, discipline required during the training, responsibility for their actions, submitting to school regulations and etc.); the objectives of students’ scientific and research competence development.
