GREAT ETHNOGRAPHIC DICTATION
On the eve of the National Unity Day, students, lecturers and the staff of the Rybnitsa Branch took part in the educational action “Great Ethnographic Dictation”.
The purpose of the Ethnographic Dictation is to draw people’s attention to the history, culture and traditions of the peoples inhabiting the Russian Federation. According to the organizers, this knowledge will make it possible not only to assess the level of ethnographic literacy of the population and their knowledge of the peoples living in Russia, but to draw the attention of the public at large to the issues of inter-ethnic peace and harmony as well.
