ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF THE MODERN SOCIO-CULTURAL SPACE OF THE REGION
On April 8, 2021, the annual student scientific conference according to the results of research work (in a remote format on the ZOOM platform) was held at the Department of General Scientific Disciplines.
The conference was attended by internal study mode and external study mode students of the training programs “Socio-Cultural Activities” and “Teacher Education”, teachers of the Department of General Scientific disciplines.
5 reports were heard on the topics related to topical issues of socio-cultural development of the region: the peculiarities of cultural and leisure activities of youth and elderly people, folk art in holidays and rituals, the development of Pridnestrovian literature, anthropology of Rybnitsa.
Following the results of the section meeting, the organizing committee, taking into account the criteria for evaluating research works, distributed the prizes as follows:
The 1st place was taken by Chekan Yulia, a student of the second year of the training program “Socio-cultural activity”. The topic of the report is “The specifics of cultural and leisure activities in the structure of free time of young people”. The scientific supervisor is Associate Professor Savvina Lyudmila.
The 2nd place was taken by Morgunenko Alexander, Banar Maria, the students of the first year of the training program “Socio-cultural activity”. The topic of the report is “Artistic creativity of the Pridnestrovian people in Christmas holidays”. The scientific supervisor is Associate Professor Lozan Tatiana.
The 3rd place was taken by Levchenko Elena, the student of the first course of the training program “Teacher Education”. The topic of the report is “The image of the motherland in the works of the pridnestrovian poets and writers (on the example of Ukrainian literature)”. The scientific supervisor is Associate Professor Lozan Tatiana.
The students invited to the conference took an active part in the discussion of the presented reports. As a result of the discussion of the problems of the region socio-cultural development, the conference participants came to the following conclusions:
‒ it is necessary to deeply rethink the socio-cultural significance of leisure activities as an integral part of a single process of raising the culture of each individual and meeting the needs of all socio-demographic groups of the population, regardless of their level of preparedness for active leisure activities;
‒ an important role in the education system and spiritual and moral education is played by the study of native and official languages, as well as the literature of the native land;
‒ preservation and development of national culture, its roots are the most important task, which requires careful attitude to traditional folk art;
‒ historical memory as the basis of cultural continuity of generations is intended to be the basis of national culture and its values.
The speakers left a good impression, both in the process of freely presenting the prepared material, and in answering the questions asked, demonstrating mastery of the methods of scientific research, predictive vision of solving the problem.
