STATE EXAM
On June 14, 2022, the Department of the Germanic Languages and Methods of Their Teaching held a state exam for students of the 3rd year of the department of vocational education in the training program “Translation and Translation Studies”. 5 students were admitted to the exam.
Chairman of the commission I.I. Chervinskaya, a German language teacher of the highest qualification category of MEE “Rybnitsa Russian Gymnasium No. 1” spoke about the excellent preparation of the examinees, while noting the answers by Bargan E. and Gzhegozhevskaya T. as the best ones.
The graduate students showed good professional training, deep theoretical knowledge, skills to carry out pre-translation analysis of the text, identify its main functions, determine the purpose of the translation, the nature of the addressee, the measure of translatability of the text, correctly draw up the text of the translation in accordance with the norms, usage and typology of texts in the translation language.
The State Examination Commission noted the wide outlook, good humanitarian training and students’ comprehensive ideas about the profession that is an integral characteristic of high-quality university education.
According to the results of the state exam, by the decision of the State Examination Commission, all the students were awarded the qualification “Translator in the field of professional communication”.
