Lomonosov Moscow State University presented its promising project for employees of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko.
As part of the meeting, there was demonstration of information technologies aimed at providing distance learning in Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The main goal of the project “University without Borders” is to organize a network educational platform for various areas of continuing distance education.
This platform was implemented by employees of the Center for the Development of Electronic Educational Resources and has proven itself positively during the pandemic. This system has many plugins that allow to expand the possibilities of distance learning.
As part of this project, a plugin for organizing and conducting video conferencing was implemented. This plugin has become widespread and is in demand at the moment. The peculiarity of the implementation of this feature is that it is not necessary to enter additional video communication systems, such as Zoom, Skype, etc., but to organize video conferences directly with the help of the platform. Lomonosov Moscow State University uses its own development which was integrated into the Moodle training management system. This made it easier to organize video conferences during training without limiting to the conditions and capabilities of other systems.
Moscow State University invites the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko as well as all interested educational institutions to constructive cooperation.
