DEFENCE OF THE SCIENTIFIC REPORT
On October 14, at the Department of Management, the first defense of a scientific report on the training program of the graduate school “Economics”, the specialization “Economics and Management of the National Economy (Regional Economy)” took place.
The scientific report was presented by Irina I. Popik, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Applied Information Science in Economics. The report “Assessment and development of the innovative potential of the region” was carried out under the scientific supervision of Dmitry M. Trach, Candidate of Economic Sciences. The relevance of the study is that the assessment of the investment climate state and investment attractiveness play a decisive role in making investment decisions and justifies the choice of directions of investment flows.
In the case of unrecognized states with a transitional economy, this problem seems doubly relevant, because it makes it possible, on the one hand, to assess the significance of political risks for investment activities, and secondly, it makes it possible to identify the features of the innovative economy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. As a result of the study, a number of conclusions and recommendations were made to improve the mechanism of innovative development of the PMR. According to the results of state certification, the graduate student was awarded the qualification “Researcher Teacher”.
