ACQUAINTANCE OF STUDENTS WITH THE SCIENTIFIC AND INFORMATION LIBRARY CENTER
From September to October, the Scientific and Information Library Center was visited by freshmen of the Rybnitsa branch of Pridnestrovian Shevchenko State University.
Conversations were held with each group of students in order to form information and library culture, including:
- acquaintance and rules for using the library;
- what is bibliography and how to use it;
- dictionaries and reference books, the way of working with them;
- rules for using card indices and catalogs.
Then a review of educational and methodological literature was carried out.
At the end of the conversation, each student had the opportunity to enroll in the Scientific Information Library Center for further use of the library fund.
