ORDINARY MIRACLE
On December 29, the Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko opened its doors for 42 pupils of the 1st-5th grades of the boarding school in Popenki. New Year’s holidays for orphans and children who are left without parental care have been held by students for more than fifteen years. To create a real miracle for children, students have been raising funds for several months at charity events.
The holiday organizers, the core student group of the branch under the leadership of Deputy Director for Youth Affairs E.L. Molchanova, managed to create truly magical New Year’s atmosphere for the pupils of the boarding school.
Children participated in competitions, sang songs and had fun. Each child could read a poem to Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden, after that they received chocolate prizes. Fairy-tale characters presented New Year’s gifts and tangerines to the guests.
The children thanked the students for the holiday.
The students also organized for children to watch cartoons in the cinema “Enigma” and to make a tour to the main New Year tree in the city.

New Year is a fairy tale holiday, and every child at this time should be happy and should believe in miracles.
