IN THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONS
As part of the Republican Festival “In the World of Professions”, on February 6 the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts held the master class “Souvenir Postcard” using batik (knot painting of fabric) and graphics techniques (monotype).
Potential applicants had the opportunity to create a souvenir card with their own hands, using batik and monotype prepared by teachers, or create a monotype themselves. Under the guidance of Associate Professor L.V. Pokusinskaya and teacher I.V. Filippova, the participants of the master class performed the work with great enthusiasm. The master class was attended by schoolchildren of grades 10-11 from Lyceum School No. 2, as well as schools No. 6, 7, 8, and 9. The event was conducted according to the plan, the schoolchildren spent time with interest and benefit.
