MOTHER TONGUE IS THE LIVING SOUL OF THE PEOPLE
Within the framework of the project “Mother tongue through each and every one” on the basis of the Center for Social and Cultural Initiatives and Education of the Department of Social and Cultural Activities in February 2023, the ІVth city and district festival-competition “Mother tongue is the Living Soul of the People” was held. On the International Day of the Mother Tongue, the results of this festival-competition were summed up.
The directions of the festival-competition are:
1. Drawing competition “Phraseologisms in pictures”.
2. Essay competition “Mother tongue in the Tradition of My Family”.
The purpose of the contests is to draw attention to the mother tongue as a source of understanding the cultural traditions of the Pridnestrovian people and the basis of national identity.
Each participant got the opportunity to express their attitude to the mother tongue as a powerful tool for the preservation and development of the material and spiritual heritage of each people.
It should be noted that interest in this festival-competition is increasing every year, the quality of work is also growing.
