ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING
On February 27, 2023, an academic council meeting of the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko was held.
The following main issues were considered:
Analysis of the implementation of the strategic development of the branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko in Rybnitsa for 2019 – 2023 (the report by the branch director, Professor I.A. Pavlinov).
The speaker noted that the branch should be given well-defined and clear tasks, which imply:
- creation of new technologies;
- creation of a regional system for commercialization of smart products;
- training of specialists to work in the innovative economy;
- preparing the population for life in the new economy.
Information was presented by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor O.G. Statnik and Heads of Departments for the Analysis of the Results of the Winter Term and Examination Session, and tasks were set to improve the academic performance of the branch’s students.
The members of the Academic Council considered the issue of preparation for state exams of undergraduate students and allowance to take the State final certification of students of external study mode (information by the heads of departments).
In addition, a schedule of tests, self-guided work, consultations and defense of course papers were approved at the meeting, decisions were made to provide attendance flexibility to students, and the candidacy of a young specialist among graduates was considered.
