IN THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONS
As part of the IInd Republican Festival “In the World of Professions” on February 28, 2023, a creative association “Entertaining Mathematics” with pupils of grades 8-11 of educational institutions in Rybnytsa was held at the Rybnytsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko.
Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering Lyudmila A. Tyagulskaya conducted a master class in cryptography for learners of educational institutions in Rybnitsa. The pupils learned that cryptography is a field of mathematics that protects information from unauthorized access. It is used in a variety of fields including banking, military communications, medicine and e-commerce. The event examined the role of cryptography in mathematics and its impact on the modern world.
