MENTOR’S HOUR
On March 3, 2023, a mentor’s hour was held at the Department of Automation of Technological Processes and Production by the mentor Fedorov V.E. It was dedicated to World Engineering Day.
It is no secret that engineers are the main creators of technical civilization on Earth: it was they who collected and systematized the knowledge accumulated by humanity and created new technologies, structures and machines on their basis. At all times, the goals of engineering were the invention, development, creation, implementation and improvement of equipment, materials or processes. At the same time, engineering is closely intertwined with science and, relying on the tenets of fundamental science and the results of applied research, is a branch of scientific and technical activity. Therefore, Engineering Day is a celebration of technical thought and action, a celebration of everyone who ensures the confident development of scientific and technological progress on the planet. The contribution of engineers allows us to achieve high goals of technological progress and change our lives for the better.
