OPEN DIALOGUE
On March 28, 2023, the Rybnitsa branch hosted a meeting of Rector of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor Sokolov Vladislav V. with students.
In addition to the rector, the first Vice-Rector, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Larisa V. Skitskaya, Vice-Rector for Economic Activities and Strategic Development Sergei P. Pogorletsky, Vice-Rector for Informatization and Innovative Technologies in Education, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Alexey Yu. Dolgov participated in an interview with students.
The event was held in the format of an open dialogue, during which students received comprehensive answers to their questions. Many topics were discussed during the one and a half hour marathon of communication between the rector and students. Students were interested in questions about the possibility of postponing the start of classes, transferring poorly performing students from a budget basis to a contract one, obtaining Russian diplomas, mandatory training after graduation, opening new directions, increasing scholarships, providing modern computer technology, etc.
Vladislav V. Sokolov asked students about their plans for the future and expressed hope that young specialists will be able to realize their professional skills in Pridnestrovie.
At the end of the meeting, the rector thanked the students for their activity, interesting questions and a warm welcome. In addition, the rector drew the audience’s attention to the fact that communication with the first person of the university is not limited only to such events.
