DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
On March 29, 2022, at the Department of Applied Information Science in Economics, as part of the Open Door Week, a meeting of the student scientific association “Digital Technologies in the Regional Development” was held. The topic was Digital Technologies for Environmental Safety, in which students of the training program “Applied Information Science” took part.
During the meeting the participants considered the following issues:
1. Impact of digital technologies (innovations) on the environment and ecology.
2. Development of infrastructure that contributes to the environmental safety of the region.
3. Digital Technologies in the Environmental Monitoring System.
4. Intelligent Waste Management System.
5. Digital in Energy Saving.
The issues of ensuring the environmental safety of our region using the latest technologies are very relevant, so their discussion causes contentious debate among the meeting participants.
