THE FIRST CENTENARY OF THE USSR PEOPLE’S ARTIST BIRTH BOGDESCO I.T.
On April 21, the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko hosted a cultural and educational event dedicated to the centenary of the USSR People’s artist birth Bogdesco I.T., as part of the Republican project “My Great Fellow Countrymen”.
The event was attended by students and teachers of the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko, who spoke about the biography of the outstanding artist and about the most famous works in calligraphy, linocuts and illustrations by Ilya Bogdesco.
The event was attended by students, teachers of the Rybnitsa branch, specialists of the Russian World Office in Rybnitsa, representatives of the public association “Obnovlenie”, deputies of the Supreme Soviet, the head of the state administration of the Rybnitsa district and Rybnitsa, where they remembered and honored the memory of the USSR People’s Artist Bogdesco I.T., who created many unique masterpieces during his life.
