FACULTY SEMINAR
On May 17, 2023 the Department of Management of the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko held a faculty seminar on the topic “Saving the population as the most important resource of the regional economy”.
The seminar participants discussed topical issues related to saving the population in the PMR. During the work, the following reports were made:
1. Management of the demographic processes of the PMR as a factor in the successful economic development of the country (Senior Lecturer Lugovaya N.G.).
2. Pedagogical system of the region as a factor of national saving (Associate Professor Bradyk G.M.).
The factors and problems of national economy in the PMR were considered.
As a result, the participants of the seminar agreed that demographic research is very relevant, it is necessary to develop the correct demographic policy in the state, assess labor resources and plan the number of jobs, establish the relationship between the number of population and social and economic development. The demographic problem is a consequence of political, economic, social problems that have been accumulated in the republic, and only their comprehensive solution can improve the situation.
As for the policy of education of Pridnestrovie, it is noted that the Constitutional requirements in providing the population with educational institutions are observed in the PMR. Despite the decrease in the child population, educational institutions remain even in the absence of the required occupancy rate and to the detriment of funding savings.
