HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PSU!
On October 2, 2023, the Rybnitsa branch celebrated the 93rd anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko – a university with a rich history and glorious traditions.
The mentor lesson “Happy birthday, PSU!” opened a rich program of the holiday. Students learned about the formation and development, the combination of traditions and innovations, unique scientific potential, large-scale professional tasks and the implementation of promising plans of the university.
Then a solemn meeting of the team took place. In the welcoming address, the head of the state administration of the Rybnitsa district and Rybnitsa V.V. Tyagai congratulated the staff of the branch on the anniversary and expressed confidence that “the good traditions that have developed at the university, the unique scientific potential of the creative team accumulated over many years of work, allow the university to continue to successfully develop, achieve new heights in science and education”.
The director of the branch, Professor I.A. Pavlinov congratulated those present on the holiday and noted that “since the founding of our university, our qualified teaching staff and students with great dedication and willingness to study have distinguished ourselves”. Igor A. Pavlinov conducted an excursion into the history of the university and sincerely wished everyone good health, life well-being and creative success.
Then the holiday moved to the site in front of the main building.
After the end of the solemn part, fairgrounds unfolded, and the charity fair “Warmth of Our Hands” was held. Each department designed its own corner in the theme of the anniversary of the university. Creative performances prepared by students and teachers gave a good mood to all the event participants.
The bright conclusion of the holiday was the kapustnik of freshmen “There is an idea!”
Songs, dances and skits about student life were presented to the audience.
