PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK “RYBNITSA IN NAMES”
On November 20, on the eve of the celebration of the Day of Rybnitsa, the Department of Social and Cultural Activities held the presentation of scientific and documentary publication “Rybnitsa in the names”, dedicated to the 395th anniversary of Rybnitsa and the 30th anniversary of the Rybnitsa branch.
This popular scientific documentary edition is a book of memory about famous people, whose names are for streets and educational institutions of Rybnitsa. The book presents archival data on their education, biographies of famous people, museum materials. The book is well illustrated. The documentary edition is designed both for researchers and local historians, and for a wide range of readers interested in the history of their native land.
The presentation was attended by guests of honor: Deputy Head of the State Administration of the Rybnitsa district and Ribnitsa Y.P. Moldovsky, Head of ME “Rybnitsa Department of Public Education” O.P. Popchenko, Deputy Head of ME “Rybnitsa Department of Culture” N.B. Orlova, Chairman of the Public Council of the Rybnitsa district and Rybnitsa T.B. Rak, Director of ME “Rybnitsa Museum Association” N.A. Grubaya, Director of ME “Ribnitsa Centralized Library System” S.N. Zhuravleva. The presentation participants were teachers and students of the Rybnitsa branch.
