REPUBLICAN SEMINAR
On December 14, 2023, the Rybnytsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko held a Republican seminar on the topic “Peculiarities of using the traditions of folk embroidery of Pridnestrovie in the educational process of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts”.
The relevance of the seminar topic consists in the development of a conceptually new narrow direction of implementation of the regional component in creative and scientific activities of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts. This direction is unique in each region with ethnographic material, as historical heritage, able in any visual form to become the “identity” of the region, recognizable among the entire variety of cultures.
The conference was attended by students and teachers of the Rybnitsa branch, Bendery Higher Art College named after V.I. Postoikin, teachers of MEI AE “Rybnitsa Children’s Art School”. 5 reports were presented, issues and problems were discussed. They decided to continue to study and introduce the topic into the creative and educational process.
