APPLIED URBAN STUDIES IN THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT
On January 26, a meeting of the student scientific association “Applied Urban Studies in the Urban Development and Improvement” was held at the Department of Automation of Technological Processes and Production.
Participants demonstrated examples of the successful use of quadcopters to create 3D models of the urban environment. Cases of application in urban infrastructure planning and green area analysis were considered, and opportunities provided by quadcopters in urban environment planning and design were discussed. The emphasis was placed on the benefits of creating accurate and detailed 3D models to analyze and optimize urban space.
