ROUND TABLE
On February 2, at the Department of the Germanic Languages and Methods of Their Teaching, as part of the celebration of Science Day, a scientific and methodological seminar “Traditions and Innovations upon Teaching a Foreign Language” was held.
The purpose of the seminar was to exchange experience between teachers on issues related to the latest trends in teaching foreign languages, as well as on the problems of domestic and foreign linguistics.
The participants of the seminar discussed linguistic, linguodidactic, sociocultural and educational aspects of teaching foreign languages, as well as the use of information technologies in practical classes and for students’ independent work.
The work was accompanied by a lively and constructive discussion. The reports were presented at a high theoretical and methodological level using multimedia technologies. The participants showed great interest in the topics discussed, noted the relevance of studying the affected problems and the need for their further study.
