For all the inhabitants of the town and district May 9 is a particular holiday. It combines tears of sorrow and joy, pain of bereavement and great self-sacrifices. A short word “Victory” stands for courage and heroism of millions of soviet soldiers. City people and guests of Rybnitsa for the 69th time gathered to celebrate one of the most significant holidays – Victory Day in the Great Patriotic war as a mark of respect for those who died for the sake of freedom of Great Motherland and for love of the future generation.
