Shevchenko”, which has an organized library fund of publications to give them for temporary use to students, teachers and other categories of readers to ensure educational and administrative processes in the work of the branch.  _____________________________________________ Attention! With the help of the electronic catalog, you can search for literature in the scientific and information library center. _____________________________________________ The library in the branch is an information and training center that not only preserves traditional functions, but also acquires new ones. Library services for students and teachers are carried out using traditional and innovative methods and forms of work, modern areas of library services are being introduced. The library fund of the Scientific and Information Library Center is completed with educational, methodological, scientific and recurrent periodicals in all general education programs, academic subjects, courses and disciplines. The main indicators of the library work: the number of the book fund is 7089 copies; the number of readers is 790: teachers, staff, full-time and part-time students; the number of books lent is 2078 copies. The work on the use of computer technology in the library has begun since 2003. An electronic catalog has been compiled and is updated as new literature comes. For an extended search of the necessary material by word and phrase, the table of contents of books and journals is scanned. More than 1500 items were scanned. The reading room of the library provides work in the Local network system of the branch, access to using the electronic catalog data, constant using the Internet. Information work includes the publication of lists of newly received literature in the editions of the bulletin “Windows of Academic Growth”, as well as the design in the reading room of the exhibitions “New Books” and “Read in Newspapers and Journals”.
