Scientific and Educational Center The Scientific and Educational Center (the SEC) is an organizational form of integration and coordination of efforts of educational, scientific and innovative potential of the subdivisions of the Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko, including international activities and popularization of scientific knowledge.  Departments, centers and laboratories take part in the SEC work. To carry out research and educational activities, staff and part-time employees of the University branch are involved, and temporary creative teams are formed, which may include teachers, employees and students of the University branch. The purpose of the SEC is to conduct fundamental and applied scientific research, develop new programs and methods that develop and combine fundamental scientific research and the educational process, methodological support of the educational process, development of international cooperation for training highly qualified specialists. The main tasks of the SEC are: • to create conditions for implementing project-oriented educational programs of engineering, social and economic profiles and specific programs of natural science and humanitarian profiles, involving team execution of projects of the full life cycle; • to ensure harmonization of the topics of priority developments on the basis of the branch with the strategy of social and economic development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic until 2025; • to participate in providing conditions for implementing continuous education, increasing information, financial and legal literacy of citizens, developing professional competence of teachers; • to ensure involvement of students, graduate students and scientific and pedagogical workers in innovative and entrepreneurial activities; • to ensure implementing project-oriented master’s programs with involvement of employees of enterprises of the real sector of the PMR economy; • to ensure the development of student technological entrepreneurship, the creation and functioning of start-up projects, business incubators, technology parks and programs of supporting innovative entrepreneurship of the PMR; • to conduct scientific and methodological conferences, round tables, seminars, youth schools, webinars, meetings for experience exchange; • technological and personnel support of production based on implementing effective projects, principles and integration forms of institutions of science, education, government bodies and the business community of the PMR; • to create temporary creative teams on the basis of the SEC and their conducting both independent innovation activities and joint projects with the PMR business community.
