COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS AND SEMANTICS PROBLEMS

On April 23 Foreign Languages Chair of PSU named after T. Shevchenko, Rybnitsa branch, held the seminar on the subject “Cognitive Linguistics and Semantics Problems”. The seminar participants, teachers of the chair and students of Courses III, IV, V, took part in the discussion of questions connected with history of cognitive science formation, linguistics role in cognitive science formation. The main directions of cognitive researches were considered, the special focus was on the question of the cognitive metaphor theory.
