The Teaching Practice of Group 503

At all times the practice was considered as an integral part of training because complete mastery of a profession and all its peculiarities are possible only if theory and practice are used in connection. Undergoing the practice students gain professional abilities, namely an ability to define the purposes and to make out a plan for lessons; they get an ability to allocate time correctly and to differentiate tasks at a lesson; they study how to organize pupils and to concentrate their attention at a lesson.
 


Students of Group 530 underwent the practice in several schools, such as: Municipal Educational Institution, Secondary School No. 9 in Rybnitsa; Municipal Educational Institution, Secondary Schools No. 6 and 10 in Rybnitsa, which have Lyseum Classes; Municipal Educational Institution, Secondary School — Kindergarten in Bolshoy Molokish.

“During the first week of practice we supervised how teachers gave their lessons. Real practical activities began the second week, when we began giving our own lessons. At first we faced a large amount of difficulties: constraint, fear of saying something wrong, an inability to adjust the discipline. But giving lessons every day we got more and more confidence. We coped easy with all difficulties with the help of teachers of the English language - Kovtunenko J., Kruda A., Tarnopolskay N., Kucherenko A., Kilovskay I., Derevchuk T. and heads of practice Buzhenko S. and Argunova V.. We gave final lessons the third week , when we showed everything we had learnt. Our teachers noticed and we felt too, that we got a great progress.

Having passed three weeks of the teaching practice, I can note that that time was very effective for our professional competence formation. We took much from given lessons. It was very interesting and informative to be in a role of a teacher. We managed to experience a role and value of the teacher in our society, to get practically all necessary skills for the future teaching activity with the help of talented and professional teachers, who surrounded us during the whole period of our practice, their support and help, pieces of advice and directions, assistance in accumulation of pedagogical experience,” said one of the student.
