NEW YEAR’S MATINEE IN THE ORPHANAGE
Charitable events and activities to help orphans and children who were left without parental care in the Popenki Educational Orphanage were held at the Pridnestrovian State University during a year. On the eve of New Year students pay special attention to their young wards.
On December 29, 2014 the students presented bright and cheerful New Year’s holiday to the children of the orphanage. Boxes with gifts, candy, cookies, tangerines, prizes, stuffed toys and so on occupied all the transport space booked for a trip.
During the New Year’s matinee for the youngest children of the orphanage the students played the whole performance based on New Year’s fairy tales in which the children took active part. Together with Jean they saved Aladdin and his friends from evil Barmaley and his helpers. A very festive, cheerful, kind, unforgettable atmosphere reigned during the holiday which everybody without exception rejoiced. The children recited poems to Father Frost and Snow Maiden with pleasure, reeled with all the holiday heroes, play “snowballs”, sang songs and danced. All the children received gifts and prizes from Father Frost.
Not only children, but also all the performance participants got incredible pleasure of the holiday, to see shining eyes of children, their happy faces is the most precious New Year’s gift.
We sincerely thank all those who are not indifferent to the inmates’ of the Popenki Educational Orphanage on the eve of the New Year holidays, who paid attention, took care and gave a fairy tale to the kids of the orphanage.
