26TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE WITHDRAWAL OF TROOPS FROM AFGHANISTAN
On February 12 on the eve of the 26th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan there was a meeting of students with veterans of the Afghanistan war – lecturers and staff of the PSU, the branch in Rybnitsa.
After congratulation words from students, soldiers-internationalists spoke to them. They are Tsvincailo Peter, Senior Lecturer of the Applied Information Science Chair, Fedorov Vladimir, Associate Professor of the Applied Information Science Chair, and Sorokin Victor, Lead Specialist of the Personal Department. They told the younger generation about difficulties and trails, which any war brings, and of course, they wished the students not to have any experience that they had.
Our sainted devoir is to keep in memory names of those who died but didn’t drop honor of a Soviet soldier. Our sainted devoir is to remember this ruthless, merciless, cruel war.
Next to us there are those who save Afghanistan in their souls, hearts, and memory.
