BEFORE VICTORY DAY
On May 6 and 7 students of the Pridnestrovian State University, the branch in Rybnitsa, congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory at home.
Gifts, flowers and cards were given to 11 veterans. Older people like such an annual student initiative very much. Veterans are looking forward to the visit of students these days. They warmly welcomed guests from the University and were very grateful for attention. They refreshed their memory of the war days, their loved ones with tears in their eyes. They shared stories from their life in peace time and were thankful for younger generation not to be forgotten.
We thank all the participants of the campaign “Congratulate a veteran” for the collection of funds for the purchase of holiday gifts to the veterans.
Dear veterans! This day which is memorable for all of you and us, your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, we would like to express our gratitude and we make a profound bow for you to defend our homeland not having saved your lives. Whole heartedly we say to you “Thank You!” for the fact that we live, that we have the peaceful sky over us. We wish you health, health, health in the years ahead.
