76TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR
On May 7-9, 2021, the staff of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko took part in the festive events dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On May 7, the students held a campaign “Congratulate a veteran!”, visiting veterans with targeted gifts at home.
On May 8, the action “Candle of Memory” – “The memory of your descendants is true to your undimmed glory...” was held by grateful Rybnitsa citizens.
On May 9, the teachers, staff and students honored the feat of the defenders of the Fatherland by laying flowers at the Memorial Sign to Major General K.N. Tsvetkov and the Eternal Flame at the Memorial of Glory, a solemn procession along the square with the St. George Ribbon, the “Dove of Peace” and “Thank you for the Feat” campaigns on the improvised mobile stage at the addresses of the veterans, the concert program “How good it is in the world without war”.
As part of the All-Pridnestrovian People’s Forum delegation, the chairmen of the student committee and council of monitors of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko, Daria Klimchuk and Artur Andronov, had the honor to watch the military parade in the Suvorov Square.
