GRADUATE QUALIFICATION PAPER DEFENSE
On July 7, 2021 the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts held the graduate qualification paper defense for the bachelors, the training program in “Design”, specialization in “Design” and the training program in “Teacher Education”, specialization in “Fine Arts”.
The State Examination Board Chairman Galanin Vladimir B., the Honored Artist and the public organization Chairman of the PMR Union of Designers acknowledged that the quality of students’ answers to the questions asked by the State Examination Board members had demonstrated a rather strong educational foundation corresponding to the standards of education. All the graduates are ready to work independently.
The goals the academic staff set themselves were to provide in-depth systematic knowledge of the training programs curriculum, to develop the ability to apply the received knowledge and skills in fine arts and design creatively, to promote respect towards the future profession. All of the goals have been achieved. The academic stuff are in constant search for the ways to reform the artistic education, to use new technologies and to foster the respectful attitude towards the future profession.
